Our fleet of boats come in different sizes and each has its own unique character. We cannot guarantee any of our boats will be in use for any given service, but as they all have spectacular views of London, as well as comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces, you’ll have a great time whichever one you’re on!

Thomas Doggett

With 524 seats, the Thomas Doggett is the largest of the Thames River Sightseeing fleet. The 34.5m long vessel was purpose-built for sightseeing with open and covered decks and a spacious lower saloon with panoramic windows offering the best views of London.
The vessel was named after the famous 17th century Irish actor Thomas Doggett who started the first Doggett Coat and Badge race 302 years ago for young watermen who worked on the river.

Mercuria

The Mercuria boasts a large open top deck with seating for 146 passengers, and a lower saloon with seats for up to 168. Bar and toilet facilities are situated in the foyer. The vessel has a separate disabled toilet and ramps from the foyer for wheelchair access to the lower saloon viewing area.

Sarpedon

Designed to carry up to 400 passengers inside and outside, the Sarpedon is the perfect boat for sightseeing cruises, or for private hire to transfer groups between various riverside venues. Whatever the weather, up to 250 people can enjoy the views of the River Thames from the comfort of the lower saloon.

Sapele

Sapele is a purpose-built passenger vessel for the River Thames. It was constructed in Holland in 2006. The Sapele can accommodate up to 250 passengers in comfort with the lower saloon seating 170 and the open upper deck seating 146. A great place for your guests to sip their drinks as they sail down the river and see the sights.

Mercia

The Mercia is a spacious boat which has a large lounge with panoramic windows on the lower deck and a smaller lounge on the upper deck as well as a large open viewing area. The lower deck is capable of seating 140 guests.

Avontuur IV

The Avontuur IV has an enormous open top deck which can seat up to 200 passengers for a sightseeing cruise. The lounge on the lower deck is comfortable and spacious, and has air conditioning for days when it’s too hot to be outside.

London Rose

London Rose’s large open top deck and smaller aft deck are the perfect places to see the sights and take photos as you cruise along the iconic River Thames. The vessel can accommodate 246 passengers on both decks. It has two spacious heated saloons which have been fitted out with comfortable booth seating. The upper saloon is a smaller, quieter area where you can relax and enjoy breathtaking views of London through the panoramic windows.

Mercedes

A modern multi-purpose vessel built in Germany, the Mercedes is suitable for a number of functions on the River Thames and can carry up to 150 passengers. There are two separate areas on the lower deck of the Mercedes: the main area as well as a smaller saloon at the front of the vessel. The upper deck has a large enclosed area as well as a small open deck at the front of the boat for you to take in the view as you cruise along the Thames come rain, wind or shine.

Hollywood

The Hollywood is one of the more traditional single-deck passenger boats on the Thames. With an outdoor viewing deck and indoor lounge, she can hold up to 200 passengers in sightseeing comfort.

Chay Blyth

The Chay Blyth is one of the more traditional passenger boats operating on the Thames. She was named after the yachtsman Sir Charles Blyth, who was the first person to sail single-handed, non-stop westwards around the world in 1971. The upper deck is partially enclosed so you can enjoy being outdoors even if the sun’s too hot or it’s started to rain. This vessel is licensed to carry 180 passengers.

Salient

The saloon on the lower deck can hold up to 180 people and includes enough space for a dancefloor. There is an observation deck at the rear of the boat. The upper deck has an open observation deck as well as a saloon with panoramic windows and, on nice days, a large sliding roof can let in even more sunlight.

Sarah Kathleen

Sarah Kathleen is a single-decked vessel, with a large open deck giving everyone a superb view of the river. If you are trying to get your group from one venue on the Thames to another, for example for a wedding, avoid getting stuck in London traffic by using the river instead! The vessel can carry 160 passengers and is available for hire in the daytime.
