Covid safe places to visit in London from the week of 17th May 2021

We are all very much looking forward to having our normal lives back, and from Monday 17th May we will be closer to that.

With most of the attractions and museums re-opening that week, we are pleased to resume our services daily, with departures every 40 minutes and including two additional stops at Festival and Bankside piers from Saturday 22nd May.

Why not jump on our hop-on hop-off boat and make the most of your time along the river Thames.  Near our piers, you will find the following great covid safe places to visit on your day out.

Westminster Abbey  

Re-opening for sightseeing visitors on Friday 21st May, this World Heritage Site has more than a thousand years of history and has hosted many royal weddings, burials and all the coronations from William the Conqueror in 1606 to the present day. For planning your visit click here

National Gallery

Re-opening on Monday 17th May, this superb museum is located in the grand Trafalgar Square and holds one of the greatest collection of paintings in the world with over 2,300 works that you will be able to see free of charge!

London Eye

Re-opening also on Monday 17th May, this is a must do activity in the capital, and the only place where you can enjoy an incredible 360-degree panoramic view of London. Book here

Borough Market

This historic market has remained open during lockdown with covid measures in place, it is one of the largest and oldest food markets in London and the perfect place to have lunch if you are a food lover.

Tower of London

Re-opening on Wednesday 19th May, this Historic Royal Palace has served many purposes throughout its history that you will be able to discover when you visit. From the Crown jewels, to the Bloody Tower and the Medieval Palace, accompanied by the ravens and the legendary Yeoman Warders, you will have the best time exploring this iconic landmark of the city. Royal Observatory

Re-opening on Monday 17th May, this is the Home of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and contains the Astronomy Centre and London’s only planetarium among other interesting things. The view alone from the top of Greenwich park where the observatory is located, is worth the visit. Buy your tickets here
